An artful life.

Learn about rotating art exhibits at The Woodlands.

The Woodlands is proud to host rotating exhibits of artwork from local artists, including our own residents.

This month’s featured artist is Deborah Feiste, an artist native to Greenville. Feiste has lived in South Carolina since 1995 and founded The Arts Center, a non-profit community arts organization in Clemson, where she was also the Executive Director. She has also served on the South Carolina Botanical Gardens Gallery Selection Committee and was a working member of the Caffeine Contemporary Art Forum in Greenville. She has curated and exhibited extensively throughout the southeast and has artwork in both private and corporate collections throughout Indiana and Upstate South Carolina.

Feiste is currently a member of The International Society of Assemblage and Collage Artists, National Collage Society, Atlanta Collage Society, The Bascom: Center for the Visual Arts and the Metropolitan Arts Council. She currently works out of Central, SC. Feiste specializes in mixed media artwork, using found ephemera (such as old books, vintage photographs, etc) to create intimate narratives that intend to provoke internal and external discussion on social, political and cultural issues.

Our gallery at The Woodlands is open to the public, so come visit us at 1500 Trailhead Ct to take a look at Feiste’s collection.
